Having enough of emotional song in the industry, Hip Hop Tonight is a fusion of Hip Hop and Funk, an upbeat music that’s full of energy.
Unlike her song in the past where people recognize her from her sentimental songs and her outstanding vocal. This time round collaborating with Korean Pop King, Rain’s producer, Bang, he want Coco to think that she’s a triad leader, using her unspoiled vocal to sing this song. Together, coming out with a new dance hit that will expose you to a new sphere.
The song starts with a rap giving an introduction to come back of Coco Lee, using words like the “Queen Diva”, “I know say she’s back” and “She never left”.
Basically, it has pulsating beats makes you want to get up and dance with her. In the first verse, “Let’s get the party started” and “跟著我一起 (follow me) hip hop tonight now” it’s like she’s inviting you to groove along with her.
