Tag : G (gentle ) / acoustic Song : No Such Thing by John Clapton Mayer More about John Clapton Mayer 30 years old American Grammy Award winning singer songwriter and guitarist I feel that the background of this song is mainly on acoustic and is a rather gentle song. It doesn’t have those strong punch kind of effects as compared to metal. He’s has got a smooth vocal ability. This song is about the character of parents towards their children pursuing careers in the entertaining industry, as Mayer himself encountered as a youth. I'm telling you loosen up my buttons baby (Uh huh) But you keep fronting (Uh) Saying what you going to do to me (Uh huh) But I ain't seen nothing (Uh)
Typical Hardly the type I fall for I'm liking the physical Don't leave me asking for more I'm a sexy mama (Mama) Who knows just how to get what I want and (Want and) What I want to do is spring this on you (On you) Back up all of the things that I told you (Told you)
You been saying all the right things all night long But I can't seem to get you over here to help take this off Baby, can't you see? How these clothes are fitting on me And the heat coming from this beat I'm about to blow I don't think you know
You say you're a big boy But I can't agree 'Cause the love you said you had Ain't been put on me I wonder If I'm just too much for you Wonder If my kiss don't make you just Wonder What I got next for you What you want to do? (Do)
Take a chance to recognize that this could be yours I can see, just like most guys that your game don't please Baby, can't you see? How these clothes are fitting on me And the heat coming from this beat I'm about to blow I don't think you know
Buttons encompasses a heavy sexual innuendo as many of their songs, captures a strong sexual undertone. In this particular song, the protagonist teases her intended male to “loosen her buttons”, take off her clothes. It’s suggestive and leaves more for listeners to phantom/fantasize what comes next after the steamy rendition of the first few verses.
Song continues to portray the protagonist “asking for more” hungry for sexual favors from her male intend who plays coy and doesn’t accede to her request of “loosing up her buttons” and she goes on repeating the catchy-sexually charged chorus. This subconsciously hones the listener’s curiosity to what will happen in the end and plume them into a state of arouser.
The rendezvous nature of both flirting parties that still stays at bay until the male takes on a higher level of ecstasy, which in this song, does not happen, leaving listeners in groaning in agony.
The starting exotic tune of Chinese cymbals and Arabian electronics brings in the image of a sexy belly dancer and pumps up the adrenaline as the female voices sing in unison to tease the male intended.
Arabian humming sounds like a snake charming and tempting the listeners; topped with beat drums and eastern music takes us into another realm of charm and chime.
Draped with dark contours of a chanting style sultry female voice and popular sexual reference to their dancing images; even their name suggests sexual intent (PUSSY cat dolls), leaves the imagination to listeners with their moans (… do to me uh-huh), of groans and pleas (what you going to do to me); to total submission of body to male counterpart.
Coupled with its sizzling sinuous lyrics repeating the action of unbuttoning a woman’s clothes, tantalizingly escalates desire over desire.
Having enough of emotional song in the industry, Hip Hop Tonight is a fusion of Hip Hop and Funk, an upbeat music that’s full of energy.
Unlike her song in the past where people recognize her from her sentimental songs and her outstanding vocal. This time round collaborating with Korean Pop King, Rain’s producer, Bang, he want Coco to think that she’s a triad leader, using her unspoiled vocal to sing this song. Together, coming out with a new dance hit that will expose you to a new sphere.
The song starts with a rap giving an introduction to come back of Coco Lee, using words like the “Queen Diva”, “I know say she’s back” and “She never left”.
Basically, it has pulsating beats makes you want to get up and dance with her. In the first verse, “Let’s get the party started” and “跟著我一起 (follow me) hip hop tonight now” it’s like she’s inviting you to groove along with her.

Famiresu Bombaa (roughly translated to Family Restaurant Bomber) is mainly themed about a customer supposedly having a date at a restaurant. While waiting for his girlfiend to arrive, the waitress takes his orders. But in the end, he did not get what he ordered. Then he starts raiding the restaurant. To top it all off, his girlfriend did not arrive either. And he had been waiting from morning till night. And as the whole band sang in Japanese, "You idiot, you idiot, you waiting idiot."
This song was released in the Sex Machineguns' first self-titled album in 16 October 1998. The visual kei/speed metal band performed this song quite often during live events around Japan. It also made its first game debut as a cover song, in Guitar Freaks 8th Mix and Drummania 7th Mix. Handsome JET Project performed the cover.
The song, in essence, is what japanese rock and speed metal is all about. It is basically a mix of speed and metal and a tinge of screaming vocals, otherwise found in American metal music. The guitar riffs are loud, but melodic at the same time, similar to visual kei music. It starts out very fast from the get-go, then slows down halfway through the song, and ends like how it began. It features Anchang on lead guitar and vocals, Sussy on rhythm guitar, Noisy on bass and Speed Star Syspan Joe on drums. Famiresu Bombaa was pretty hardcore for their time, with Noisy's ever-changing voices during the bridge, extremely fast and powerful guitar and bass riffs, and Joe's mind-blowing double bass skills throughout the whole of the song, giving it an explosive feel. The guitarists and bassist even had their own dance and hair-swinging moves while playing live, often emulated by the audience when they listen to the song.
The vocals heard are being sung in an angst but melodic tone, but it still brings out the emotions of anger from the lyrics. The song for the most part, shows how gullible the customer is in believing his date (The girl I love won't come either. She won't come again). It also gives the impression of how blank-minded the waitress is (The coffee that I didn't ask for is here).
The solos are amazingly hard to pull off, yet Anchang and Sussy are able to do them very easily, showing off their technical prowess in this song. Anchang also has powerful, unique vocals which blend in well with the other members' background vocals. The song is about 5 minutes long, but some parts are repetitive and could have been done away with. Anyone who is a fan of Japanese Rock or cool solos must listen to this song. Hearing it will make you want to blow up restaurants on a bad hair day, just like me.

Review: The song Glamourous by Fergie is basically about her life as a successful music artist who is embracing her lucky and glamorous life to the max. The chorus itself explains it all about what she thinks about her current life.
Chorus We flying first class Up in the sky Poppin.. champagne Livin.. my life In the fast lane And I won..t change For the glamorous
A current single from her new album, The Dutchess, her music’s smooth r&b style that goes down easy and light touch makes it easy to listen to on radio and is catchy. It makes one want to groove to the beat. Her trademark of spelling words in her songs makes you want to spell and sing the word as well. It makes it attractive and easily identifiable as a song.
However, the song also tells us that despite all that glamour and bling-bling in her life, she's still grounded and still the same person that she is before all that jazz. It's trying to teach you that you shouldn't lose yourself in all that hype or else, it'll turn you into so much trouble.
I..m no queen, I..m no machine I still go to Taco Bell Drive-through, raw as Hell I don..t care, I..m still real No matter how many records I sell After the show or after the Grammys I like to go cool out with the family Sippin.., reminiscing on days when I had a Mustang
"Glamorous" amounts to a smoothed out, slowed down slice of Fergie's life. It's a tribute to the lush, rich life of a pop star that has been through a lot to get to where she is now. Growing up dreaming about being a pop star on MTV, she had always listened to her father for his advice and now, look where she is!
A definite groovy and catchy song with clever lyrics to boot. It's almost like a motivation song disguised in an attractive r&b song. Awesome!
